Tadej Pogačar
Tadej Pogačar is a Slovenian cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam UAE Team Emirates. He became the youngest cyclist to win a UCI World Tour race when he won the 2019 Tour of California at age 20. In his debut Grand Tour, Pogačar won three stages of the 2019 Vuelta a España en route to a third place finish. In his Tour de France debut he not only won three stages but he also won the race.
Goran Dragić
Goran Dragić is a Slovenian professional basketball player for the Miami Heat of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Nicknamed "the Dragon", he had played professional basketball in Slovenia and Spain before entering the NBA in 2008. Dragić has also played for the Phoenix Suns and the Houston Rockets. He was an All-NBA Third Team selection and the NBA Most Improved Player with the Suns in 2014. He was named an NBA All-Star for the first time in 2018 with Miami. He led the senior Slovenian national team to its first FIBA EuroBasket title in 2017, while being named the Most Valuable Player of the tournament.

Jurij "Jure" Zdovc is a Slovenian former professional basketball player and coach for Žalgiris Kaunas of the Lithuanian Basketball League (LKL) and the EuroLeague. As a player, he was a 1.98 m (6'6") tall point guard, who began his professional playing career with the Yugoslav Second Division club Smelt Olimpija.

He is the current world No.1 ranked road cyclist in the UCI World Ranking, having held the top placing for 50 weeks in total. He has ended the season twice as the number one ranked cyclist.
