Blaž Jarc is a Slovenian former professional cyclist, who competed professionally between 2007 and 2014.

Radoslav "Rašo" Nesterović, often referred to in English as Radoslav "Rasho" Nesterović, is a Slovenian former professional basketball player. He holds citizenship in both Slovenia and Greece. During his career in the NBA, Nesterović played for the Minnesota Timberwolves, San Antonio Spurs, Indiana Pacers, and Toronto Raptors. He retired in 2011.

Tadej Valjavec is a Slovenian former professional road bicycle racer, who last competed for the Sava team. He is well known as a good climber due to his rides on mountain stages in the Giro d'Italia. Although he has achieved relatively few professional wins in his career, he has consistently performed well in the Grand Tours, with three top ten and four further top 20 finishes.

Janez "Jani" Brajkovič is a racing cyclist from Metlika, Slovenia, who most recently rode for UCI Continental team Adria Mobil. He was the world under-23 Time Trial champion in 2004.

Luka Pibernik is a Slovenian former professional cyclist, who rode professionally between 2012 and 2020, for the Radenska, Lampre–Merida and Bahrain–McLaren teams. He was named in the start list for the 2016 Tour de France and the start list for the 2017 Giro d'Italia.

Maja Keuc, also known as Amaya, is a Slovenian singer. She represented Slovenia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011.
