Gary Bollan is a Scottish professional football player and manager who is currently in charge of Cowdenbeath.

Gary Locke is a Scottish professional football player and coach. Locke both played for and managed Heart of Midlothian and Kilmarnock, and has also managed Raith Rovers and Cowdenbeath. He is currently Club Ambassador at Hearts.

Brian Vernel is a Scottish actor best known for his film role in Star Wars: The Force Awakens and as the character Odda the Younger in the TV series The Last Kingdom and Billy Wallace in Gangs of London.

Gillies MacKinnon is a Scottish film director, writer and painter. He attended the Glasgow School of Art where he studied mural painting. Following this he became an art teacher and cartoonist, and about this time he traveled with a nomadic tribe in the Sahara for six months. In the 1970s he studied at the Middlesex Polytechnic and in the 1980s in the National Film and Television School. He made a short film called Passing Glory as his graduation piece, a dour recreation of Glasgow in the 1950s and 1960s. It was premiered at the 1986 Edinburgh International Film Festival, where it won the first Scottish Film Prize.

Jordan Patrick Smith is a Scottish-Australian actor. After appearing in several guest roles, Smith was cast as Andrew Robinson in the Australian soap opera Neighbours. The character's backstory was changed to accommodate Smith's Scottish accent. Smith finished filming on Neighbours in 2012. He has since appeared in the feature film Unbroken, and the historical dramas Banished, Vikings and HBO's horror fantasy drama Lovecraft Country.

Ian Porterfield was a Scottish professional footballer, and an experienced football coach who worked at both club and international level for almost 30 years. At the time of his death, he was the coach of the Armenian national team.

David Torrence was a Scottish film actor. He appeared in more than 100 films between 1913 and 1939. He has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. He was the brother of actor Ernest Torrence. He was born in Edinburgh, Scotland and died in Los Angeles, California. He is interred at Inglewood Park Cemetery.
