Jürgen Kaube is a German journalist and one of four editors-at large of the leading german conservative newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ).

Fritz Rudolf Körper is a German politician and member of the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD). He was a member of the German Bundestag from 1990 to 2013, parliamentary state secretary to the Federal Minister of the Interior from 1998 to 2005 and Deputy Chairman of the SPD parliamentary group from 2005 to 2009.

Jörn Leonhard is Professor of West European History at the History Department of the University of Freiburg. From 2007 to 2012, he was co-director of the School of History at the Freiburg Institute for Advanced Studies (FRIAS). Hitherto his works have concentrated on the history of liberalism, nationalism, empire, and war.

Doris Maria Ahnen is a German politician of the Social Democratic Party (SPD) who has been serving as Minister for Finance in the state government of Rhineland-Palatinate since 2014. Prior to that she served as the Minister for Education, Research and Culture since 2001. She has been a part of the State Parliament of Rhineland-Palatinate since the 2006 elections. She is also a member of the German Bundesrat for Rhineland-Palatinate.
