Maxime Pedneaud-Jobin
Maxime Pedneaud-Jobin is a Canadian politician, who was elected Mayor of Gatineau in the city's 2013 municipal election. Previously a city councillor for the city's Buckingham District, he defeated incumbent mayor Marc Bureau in what was widely seen as a surprise victory.

Allan F. Nicholls
Allan F. Nicholls is a Canadian actor, film director, film producer, screenwriter, composer and musician. He was nominated for both a BAFTA and WGA award for his writing on the 1978 film A Wedding. He is often credited as Allan Nicholls. Allan was lead vocalist in the mid-60s with recording acts J.B. & The Playboys (RCA), who later became The Jaybees then Carnival Connection (Capitol). After playing Claude in the musical "Hair" he returned to Montreal to briefly sing lead vocals with Mashmakhan before releasing a number of solo recordings before delving into a career with the movie industry. A "J.B. & The Playboys – Anthology" CD was released by Super Oldies in 2005. He is probably most well known to the general public for his role as team captain Johnny Upton in the movie Slap Shot.

She released Top 20 hit singles in the 1990s including "Token Angels", "Let's Kiss ", "The Day You Went Away" and "Friday's Child" with Top 20 albums, You've Always Got The Blues, Émigré, Lily, The Witness Tree and her compilation, Stepping Stones. She has won six Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) Awards. According to rock music historian, Ian McFarlane she provides "extraordinary, crystal-clear vocals [...] a soulfulness that was the mark of a truly gifted singer".
