Ilgizar Ilgizovich Safiullin is a Russian athlete who specialises in the 3000 metres steeplechase. He represented his country at the 2013 and 2015 World Championships without qualifying for the final. In addition he won the gold medal at the 2013 Summer Universiade.

Fleet Admiral Feliks Nikolayevich Gromov was a Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy. Gromov was married and had a daughter and a son.

Ilya Anatolyevich Zimin was a Russian journalist and television reporter who worked for the NTV network. Winner of the prize TEFI (2002) — the reporter. He was killed by a youth who turned out to be his sexual partner.

Vitali Kanevsky is a Soviet film director and screenwriter. His film Zamri, umri, voskresni! won the Caméra d'Or at the 1990 Cannes Film Festival. Two years later, his film Samostoyatelnaya zhizn would win the Jury Prize at the 1992 Cannes Film Festival. The film was also nominated for the Golden Bear at the 42nd Berlin International Film Festival.
