Rui Alberto Faria da Costa, ComIH is a Portuguese professional road bicycle racer, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam UAE Team Emirates. He is best known for winning the 2013 UCI Road World Championships in Tuscany, Italy – the first Portuguese rider to do so –, three stages of the Tour de France in 2011 and 2013, and the 2012, 2013 and 2014 editions of the Tour de Suisse, becoming the first cyclist to win the event for three consecutive years.

Luís Filipe de Castro Mendes is a Portuguese politician who served as Minister of Culture from 14 April 2016 to 15 October 2018. Mendes graduated from the University of Lisbon with a law degree. He served as the Portuguese ambassador to Budapest from 2003 to 2007, and as the ambassador to New Delhi from 2007 to 2009.
