Piotr Hallmann is a Polish mixed martial artist and second lieutenant in the Polish Navy. Hallmann has fought as a lightweight throughout his MMA career, and competed for the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

Hermann Kober was a Jewish-German mathematician who introduced Erdélyi–Kober operators. He taught, up to the early 1960s, at some of the King Edward VI Foundation schools in Birmingham.

Franz Erdmann Mehring was a German communist historian and revolutionary socialist politician who was a senior member of the Social Democratic Party of Germany during the German Revolution of 1918–1919.

Friedrich August Bouterwek was a German artist, who spent much of his life in Paris.

Johann Ernst Hartmann was a Danish composer. Two of his sons were composers, Johan Ernst Hartmann and August Wilhelm Hartmann. The latter's sons included Johan Peter Emilius Hartmann.
