Qiao Bin is a Chinese badminton player. He won his first senior international title at the China International tournament. In 2016, Qiao who ranked 41 at that time clinched the Superseries title at the Korea Open, defeated the sixth seed, world number eight, Son Wan-ho in the final.

Qiu Fazu was a Chinese surgeon and politician. He was a saviour of Jewish prisoners. In the People's Republic of China, he is considered the father of modern Chinese surgery.

Ya-Qin Zhang is a scientist, technologist and business executive. He is the founder and Chairman of Blue Entropy LLC, a Seattle-based technology consulting firm. He will join Tsinghua University as the Chair Professor of AI Science in July 2020, starting the Tsinghua institute for Advanced Industry Research (AIR) to focus on new technologies for the fourth industrial revolution, such as autonomous driving, AI-IoT, and industrial AI.

Hu Ke is a Chinese host and actress best known for her role as Niu Suyun on Moment in Peking and has also starred in a number of films, including Chat, The Empire Symbol, and Goddesses in the Flames of War.

Wang Qianyuan is a Chinese actor who graduated from the Central Academy of Drama. He won Best Actor at the 23rd Tokyo International Film Festival for his role in the movie, The Piano in a Factory.

Zhu Xun is a Chinese television host. Born in Suzhou, Zhu began her career as a television host in 1987, when she was a teenager. She was the host of the Our Generation program (我们这一代). In 1988 she appeared in the film Rocking Youth (摇滚青年). In 1992 she paused her television work to go to university at Asia University in Japan, studying management. Thereafter she remained in Japan and became a host with Japanese television station NHK. She then appeared in the television show Bounce Ko Gals, Three Giant Dragons, and Shanghainese in Tokyo. In 1998 she wrote her MBA thesis on "Media Market Strategy in the 21st Century". She later returned to China. She has hosted the 2009, 2011, 2015, and 2016 editions of the CCTV New Year's Gala.

Wang Chengbin was an ethnic Manchu Chinese general of the Warlord Era of the Republic of China. He was the father of Hong Kong cartoonist Alfonso Wong. Born in Fengtian Province, Wang attended Baoding Military Academy from 1907–09, and shortly thereafter joined the New Army and was stationed in Changchun, Jilin Province. In October 1911, after the outbreak of the Wuchang Uprising, he was sent to Shanxi Province to suppress supporters of the Xinhai Revolution. In August 1912, he was appointed commander of the 11th Regiment, part of the 6th Brigade, 3rd Division. In the fall of 1913, he went with the 3rd Division to Yuezhou to suppress the Second Revolution. In 1915, he went with the 3rd Division to Sichuan Province to suppress opposition to the Empire of China. In July 1917, he acted with Wu Peifu to overthrow Zhang Xun's Manchu Restoration.

Kui Yuanyuan is a former artistic gymnast from China who competed in the 1996 and 2000 Olympic Games.

Tu Weiming is a Chinese-born American philosopher. He is Chair Professor of Humanities and Founding Director of the Institute for Advanced Humanistic Studies at Peking University. He is also Professor Emeritus and Senior Fellow of Asia Center at Harvard University.

Zhang Yesui is a Chinese diplomat who served as the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs and Party Committee Secretary for the People's Republic of China. He was formerly the Chinese Ambassador to the United States. He has previously served as Permanent Representative of China to the United Nations in New York City.
