Guan Jinlin is a Chinese former competitive figure skater. He is the 2008 World Junior bronze medalist and finished in the top ten at four Four Continents Championships. He was assigned to the 2008 Trophée Eric Bompard and 2008 NHK Trophy Grand Prix events, but missed the 2008–09 season due to injury.

Li Lingwei is a Chinese badminton player of the 1980s who ranks among the greatest in the history of the women's game. Elected as a member of the International Olympic Committee in 2012. In December 2016, she was elected Vice President of the Chinese Olympic Committee. Li is heavily involved in improving women’s participation and fair representation in sport.

Yan Chunfeng is a former Chinese politician who spent his entire career in southwest China's Sichuan province. Yan was in the spotlight on May 10, 2018 after a conflict involving his daughter's kindergarten teacher in Chengdu, Sichuan, was made known online. He was investigated by the Communist Party of China's anti-graft agency in May 2018. Previously he served as Deputy Communist Party Secretary of Guang'an, the birthplace of China's former paramount leader Deng Xiaoping.

Zhang Yong is a Singaporean Chinese billionaire who is the founder of the Haidilao International Holding Ltd restaurant group, best known for its Hai Di Lao chain of hot pot restaurants. At the end of 2018, Haidilao Hot Pot had 466 direct-operated stores in operation in more than a hundred cities. Zhang also holds majority stake in Haidilao Catering, Hai Di Lao International Holding and Yihai International.

Shi Yan Ming is a 34th generation Shaolin warrior monk, teacher and actor, best known as the founder of the USA Shaolin Temple. Trained at the Shaolin Temple in Henan, People's Republic of China (PRC) since the age of five, Shi Yan Ming came to the United States in 1992, before opening the USA Shaolin Temple in Manhattan, where he has taught hundreds of students, including numerous celebrities. He has made various media appearances in television, film and print, including National Geographic, PBS, History, Time magazine, and the 1999 American samurai action film, Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai.

Ho Kam Ming was a Macanese-born Canadian martial artist. He was one of the students of martial arts teacher Ip Man in the discipline of Wing Chun.

Luo Wei is a female Chinese taekwondo practitioner who competed at the 2004 Summer Olympics. She won the gold medal in the women's under 67 kg taekwondo competition.

Wang Jiaxiang, one of the senior leaders of the Communist Party of China in its early stage and a member of the 28 Bolsheviks. Wang held a variety of high-level posts in the Party: during the Civil War he was the director of the Red Army's General Office, upon the founding of the People's Republic of China he was the first ambassador to the Soviet Union, and then became the first head of the Party's International Department.
