Zhao Xiaoding is a Chinese photographer and cinematographer. He was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Cinematography for his work in the film House of Flying Daggers (2004).

Ken Xie is an American billionaire businessman who founded Systems Integration Solutions (SIS), NetScreen, and Fortinet. He is CEO of Fortinet, a cybersecurity firm based in Silicon Valley. Xie was previously the CEO of NetScreen, which was acquired by Juniper Networks for $4 billion in 2004. He built the first ASIC-based firewall/VPN appliance in 1996.

Sun Xiaochuan is a Chinese Douyu and Twitch streamer. He gained popularity in 2015 for his aggressive and funny interactions with his viewers. On 13 January 2018, after playing a music track with lyrics intentionally edited by his subscribers to imply Falun Gong, which is illegal according to Law of the People's Republic of China, his channel on Douyu has been permanently shut down, furtherly leading himself to be banned from various Chinese video streaming platforms. Sun continued to stream on Twitch, but ceased all streaming-related activities on 9 February 2018.

Mu Ying (1345-1392) was a Chinese general during the Ming Dynasty, and an adopted son of its founder, the Hongwu Emperor. Mu Ying was one of the few capable generals who survived the massacre of Hongwu. According to Chinese Muslim traditions; Ma Hou, the first wife of Hongwu, was a Muslim; he also had Mu Ying an adoptive Muslim son.
