Song Nan is a Chinese former competitive figure skater. He is the 2014 Four Continents bronze medalist, the 2013 Winter Universiade champion, the 2010 World Junior silver medalist, a two-time senior Grand Prix medalist, and a three-time Chinese national champion.

Qiangba Puncog, also spelled Champa Phuntsok was the chairman of the government of Tibet Autonomous Region of China from 2003 until January 2010. He is of Tibetan ethnicity. He was most visible in public during the 2008 Tibetan unrest, receiving diplomats and journalists. Qiangba Puncog resigned as chairman on January 12, 2010, and subsequently began serving as chairman of the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of the Tibet Autonomous Region.

Jiang Xuelian is a former Chinese badminton player, who later represented Canada. Jiang was joined the Chongqing badminton team in 1993. In 1997, she entered the Sichuan Institute of Sports & Technology, and at the same year she was selected to join the national team. In 2001, she competed at the IBF World Championships in Seville, Spain, and won the women's doubles bronze with Chen Lin. She was retired from the national team in 2004, and in 2009, she started to represented Canada.

Qin Bangxian, better known as Bo Gu was a senior leader of the Chinese Communist Party and a member of the 28 Bolsheviks.

Bi Feiyu is a Chinese writer. His works are known for their complex portrayal of the "female psyche." He has won some of the highest literary awards in China. He also wrote the screenplay for Zhang Yimou's 1996 film Shanghai Triad.

Zhao Lixin (Chinese: 赵立新, born August 29, 1968), male, from Zhengzhou, Henan, Swedish Chinese film and television actor, drama actor, voice actor, and show host.

Wu Yingjie is a Chinese politician based in Tibet, and the current Communist Party Secretary of the Tibet Autonomous Region, the top official in Tibet. Originally from Shandong province, Wu grew up in Tibet and worked for his entire career in the region. He became Deputy Party Secretary of Tibet in 2011 and served in the post for nearly five years before being elevated to party chief.
