Xie Fuzhan is a Chinese economist and politician who serves as the President of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. Previously he served as the Communist Party Secretary and governor of Henan province, and before that, the Director of China's National Bureau of Statistics and the State Council Research Office.

Betty Tung, or Betty Tung Chiu Hung-ping is a Hong Kong philanthropist and the former president of Hong Kong Red Cross.

Xie Jun is a Chinese chess grandmaster. She had two separate reigns as Women's World Chess Champion, from 1991 to 1996 and again from 1999 to 2001. Xie is one of three women to have at least two separate reigns, besides Elisaveta Bykova and Hou Yifan. Xie Jun is the current president of the Chinese Chess Association.

Zhao Yunlei is a mixed and women's doubles badminton player from China. She graduated with a BA from Huazhong University of Science and Technology. She is the first and only badminton player to have ever won two gold medals in the same Olympic edition, winning in both the mixed and women's doubles categories in 2012. Zhao joins the ranks with nine other players with two Olympic gold medals, the highest number of gold medals won by any badminton player. Through her performance at the 2014 and 2015 BWF World Championships, she became the first player to win two consecutive gold medals in two consecutive BWF World Championships.

Zou Kai is a five-time Olympic and five-time World champion Chinese gymnast, specializing in floor exercise and the horizontal bar.

Du Haitao, is a Chinese comedian and a host of Happy Camp of Hunan TV. He was born on October 28, 1987 and hosts several entertainment programmes on Hunan TV. He first rose to fame on a Talent Show and has since joined Hunan TV, beginning his hosting career. Currently, he is one of the most famous hosts of China.

Eddie Hui Ki-on, GBS, CBE, QPM was the last Commissioner of the Royal Hong Kong Police from 1994–1997, and the first Commissioner of Hong Kong Police from 1 July 1997 to 1 January 2001. Li Kwan-ha ran the force before him. Hui was the second ethnic Chinese person to lead the force.

Gao Fangjie is a Chinese badminton player from Nanjing, Jiangsu. She was part of the Chinese junior team to win the gold medals at the 2015, and 2016 World Junior; and also at the 2016 Asia Junior Championships. In 2016 Asia, she won the bronze medal in the girls' singles event. Gao was the runner-up in the senior tournament at the 2016 China International Challenge. In 2017, she reach the final round at the BWF Superseries Premier tournament at the China Open after competed from the qualification round, and beat the seeded players Nozomi Okuhara, P. V. Sindhu and Carolina Marín.

Sakya Pandita Kunga Gyeltsen was a Tibetan spiritual leader and Buddhist scholar and the fourth of the Five Sakya Forefathers. Künga Gyeltsen is generally known simply as Sakya Pandita, a title given to him in recognition of his scholarly achievements and knowledge of Sanskrit. He is held in the tradition to have been an emanation of Manjusri, the embodiment of the wisdom of all the Buddhas.
