Fang Shimin, better known by his pen name Fang Zhouzi, is a Chinese popular science writer who is primarily known for his campaign against pseudoscience and fraud in China. President and co-director of New Threads, a publication and website that promotes Chinese culture to the general public, Fang's aggressive campaign against allegations of academic fraud has been hotly debated; while Fang's works have appeared in many Chinese publications, various Chinese scholars have accused him of vigilantism and of using populist rhetoric in academic research. In 2019, due to the security fund incident, Fang Zhouzi’s fraud associate Peng Jian lost both cases in the domestic finals. The verdict has been inquired, and the court ruled that Peng Jian will refund 3.1 million donations and interest.

Wang Yanlin, also known as Ian Wang, is a Chinese actor. He is best known for his works in Wu Xin: The Monster Killer (2015), The Starry Night, The Starry Sea (2017). He also starred in the film Operation Red Sea (2018) and The Rescue (2019). In 2019, he became a cast member of the popular variety program, Keep Running, for the new season.

Li Zicheng, born Li Hongji, also known by the nickname, "Dashing King", was a Chinese peasant rebel leader who overthrew the Ming dynasty in 1644 and ruled over northern China briefly as the emperor of the short-lived Shun dynasty before his death a year later.

Sire Ma, or Ma Choi, is a Chinese actress based in Hong Kong. Her birth name is Sima Saier. She was the 2nd runner up at the Miss Hong Kong Pageant 2008, simultaneously winning the Miss Photogenic Award. She later went on to participate in the Miss International 2008, but was unplaced. She graduated from Hong Kong Baptist University.

Zhangsun Wuji, courtesy name Fuji, formally the Duke of Zhao, was a Chinese politician who served as a chancellor in the early Tang dynasty. He was Empress Zhangsun's brother, which made him a brother-in-law of Emperor Taizong and a maternal uncle of Emperor Gaozong. He was an important advisor to Li Shimin when the latter was still the Prince of Qin during the reign of his father, Emperor Gaozu. He helped Li Shimin overcome his brothers Li Jiancheng and Li Yuanji in a succession struggle at the Xuanwu Gate Incident, eventually enabling Li Shimin to become the heir apparent and later the emperor. He was also instrumental in Emperor Taizong's selection of Li Zhi as the Crown Prince, and was exceedingly powerful after Li Zhi took the throne as Emperor Gaozong. However, he gradually fell out of his nephew's favour by failing to support Emperor Gaozong's decision to depose his first wife, Empress Wang, and replacing her with Empress Wu, especially after the beginning of the new year 657 with the power of Empress Wu fell more. In 659, Zhangsun Wuji was falsely accused of treason by Empress Wu's political ally, Xu Jingzong, and eventually ordered to be sent into exile by Emperor Gaozong. Xu Jingzong subsequently sent the official Yuan Gongyu (袁公瑜) to force Zhangsun Wuji to commit suicide on his way to exile.

Qiao Xin, also known as Bridgette Qiao, is a Chinese actress who graduated from the Central Academy of Drama. She is recognized for her role as Guan Ju'er in Ode to Joy (2016) and Ode to Joy 2 (2017).

Louisa So Yuk Wa is a Hong Kong actress in drama and TV series. She is considered the "Cooking Mistress" of Hong Kong after winning the comedy cooking show Beautiful Cooking. In August 2009, she travelled by train across the United States, during which time she met Guardian journalist Douglas Rogers. After a brief break in 2009, she unexpectedly returned to acting in 2014 as the protagonist in the TVB drama Rear Mirror, a role that brought her wide critical acclaim, after the show received high viewership ratings.

Liu Rushi, also known as Yang Ai (杨爱), Liu Shi (柳是), Liu Yin (柳隐) and Yang Yin (杨隐),Yang Yinlian (杨影怜), Hedong Jun (河东君), was a Chinese notable courtesan and poet in the late Ming dynasty who married Qian Qianyi at the age of 25. Qian was an official and poet. She committed suicide after her husband died. She famously exchanged verses with Chen Zilong, and was noted for her painting.
