Hoani Matenga is a professional rugby player and musician. He has represented New Zealand in the Maori All Blacks, and has played professionally in France, Japan, Spain and New Zealand. Matenga is also known as a musician, as an early member of the band Six60. He can play electric bass, and in the position of either lock or loose forward.

Murray Stuart McCully is a former New Zealand politician. He is a member of the National Party, and served as Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2008 to 2017.

Anthony McCarten is a New Zealand novelist, playwright, journalist, television writer and filmmaker. He is best known for writing the biopics The Theory of Everything (2014), Darkest Hour (2017), Bohemian Rhapsody (2018) and The Two Popes (2019). He received Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay nominations for The Theory of Everything and The Two Popes.

Tammy Jenkins is a badminton player from New Zealand. She competed at the 1994 Commonwealth Games in Victoria, Canada. At the 1998 Commonwealth Games she won a bronze medal partnering Rhona Robertson in women's doubles. Four years later at the 2002 Commonwealth Games, she won another bronze medal in the mixed team.

Ross William Norman is a former professional squash player from New Zealand. He is best remembered for winning the World Open in 1986, when he beat Jahangir Khan of Pakistan in the final 9-5, 9-7, 7-9, 9-1. The win marked the end of an unbeaten run for Khan that had stretched for over five years. Norman had been ranked the World No. 2 behind Khan for some time going into the match, but despite a single-minded determination to end his unbeaten run had been unable to end the total dominance that the Pakistani had held over the game. Norman had vowed: "One day Jahangir will be slightly off his game and I will get him." That day finally came in the final of squash's biggest tournament, which was held that year in Toulouse, France.

Noel Treanor is the 32nd and current Bishop of the Irish diocese of Down and Connor. On 22 February 2008, Pope Benedict XVI announced the appointment of Noel Treanor as Bishop. He was ordained to the Episcopate and installed as Bishop of Down and Connor on 29 June 2008.

Thomas Scully is a New Zealand professional road racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam EF Education–Nippo. He previously competed on the road and track. Scully won the silver medal in the Men's points race at the 2014 UCI Track Cycling World Championships in Cali, Colombia. He won the gold medal in the same event at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom.
