She competed in Miss Lebanon 2010 held at the LBC studios in Adma, Lebanon, where she was rewarded the position of third runner-up. Kahawaty previously represented Lebanon at the age of 19, at the Miss International 2008 pageant held in Macau on 8 November 2008, where she placed as one of the Top 12 semi-finalists.
