Ben van der Burg is a retired speed skater from the Netherlands who was active between 1987 and 1992. He won a silver medal at the World All-Round Speed Skating Championships for Men in 1990. The same year he won three national titles, in the 1500 and 5000 m and allround.

Otwin Evert Theodoor (Otwin) van Dijk is a Dutch politician and former civil servant. A member of the Labour Party, his political career started in the municipality council of Duiven. From 2005 to 2012 he served as alderman in Doetinchem. From 20 September 2012 to 6 July 2016 he was a member of the national parliament. Upon his resignation he was replaced by Harm Brouwer. On 8 July he was installed as mayor of the municipality of Oude IJsselstreek, a neighbouring municipality of Doetinchem.

Martinus Anthonius Johannes Maria "Martin" Hersman is a retired speed skater from the Netherlands who was active between 1992 and 2003. He competed at the 1994 and 1998 Winter Olympics in 1000 and 1500 m; his best achievement was sixth place in the 1500 m event in 1998.

Jan Jozef Alfons Franciscus Krekels is a retired cyclist from the Netherlands. He became Olympic champion in the 100 km team time trial in 1968 with Joop Zoetemelk, René Pijnen and Fedor den Hertog; at the same Games he came in 11th in the road race. He also won the 19th stage of the Tour de France in 1971 and the prologue of Paris–Nice in 1970. He retired from professional cycling in 1978.

Pieter Jelles Troelstra was a Dutch lawyer, journalist and politician active in the socialist workers' movement. He is most remembered for his fight for universal suffrage and his failed call for revolution at the end of World War I. From 1888 to 1904, Troelstra was married to Sjoukje Bokma de Boer, a well-known children's book writer, under the pen name of Nienke van Hichtum.

Wieteke Harmanna Cramer is a speed skater from the Netherlands who won bronze allround medals at the 2001 European Championships and the 2004 World Championships. She also won two national titles, in the 1500 m (2000) and allround (2006). She finished in second place allround in 2002, and in third place in the 3000 m (2000), 5000 m (2001) and allround (2004).

Maarten de Rijke is a Dutch computer scientist. His work initially focused on modal logic and knowledge representation, but since the early years of the 21st century he has worked mainly in information retrieval. His work is supported by grants from the Nederlandse Organisatie voor Wetenschappelijk Onderzoek (NWO), public-private partnerships, and the European Commission.

Sandra Kornelia Zwolle is a retired speed skater from the Netherlands who was active between 1988 and 1999. She competed at the 1998 Winter Olympics in the 500 m and 1000 m and finished in 17th and 15th place, respectively. She won a bronze medal in the 1500 m at the world championships in 1996 and a silver medal in the 1000 m in 1997. Nationally, she won the 1000 m in 1995 and 1996 and collected more than ten silver and bronze medals in various disciplines between 1991 and 1999.
