Yuzuru Hanyū
Yuzuru Hanyu is a Japanese figure skater. He is a two-time Olympic champion, a two-time World champion, a four-time Grand Prix Final champion (2013–2016), a Four Continents champion (2020), the 2010 World Junior champion, the 2009–10 Junior Grand Prix Final champion, and a five-time Japanese national champion. He has also medaled at four other World Championships, taking bronze in 2012, and silver in 2015, 2016, and 2019. Upon winning the 2020 Four Continents Championships, Hanyu became the first and only male singles skater to achieve a Super Slam, having won all major competitions in his senior and junior career.
Shiori Yamao
Shiori Yamao is a member of the Japanese House of Representatives for the Aichi 7th district. Yamao was a member of the Constitutional Democratic Party of Japan from 2017 to 2020. She was the policy chief of the Democratic Party and a former liberal member of the Democratic Party of Japan. She has been elected to the Japanese House of Representatives thrice. She rose to prominence by criticizing Prime Minister Shinzo Abe for not handling the issue of nursery school waiting lists. Yamao is opposed to the Trans-Pacific Partnership, saying that the deal does not protect Japan's national interests.
