Horst Siebert was a German economist. He was a member of the German Council of Economic Experts from 1990 to 2003. Siebert also served as a member of both the Group of Economic Analysis (GEA) and the Group of Economic Policy Analysis (GEPA), a number of "European economists who advise the European Commission’s president." From 2002 to 2004, as a member of GEA, he advised EU President Romano Prodi. From 2005 to 2007, as a member of GEPA, he advised EU President Jose Manuel Barroso Siebert spent most of his academic career at the University of Kiel, where he held the chair for economic theory from 1989 to 2003.

He is a Professor at the School of Biological, Earth & Environmental Sciences, University of New South Wales. His previous appointments include Director of the Australian Museum 1999–2004 and Dean of Science at the University of New South Wales 2004-2009.

General of Brigade Victor Gabriel Levasseur, 1st Baron Levasseur commanded a French infantry brigade in the Grande Armée of Emperor Napoleon I. Leaving civilian life, he enlisted in a volunteer battalion in 1792 and was wounded at the 1793 Siege of Mainz. In the Rhine Campaign of 1796 he fought at Rastatt and Kehl. Promoted general of brigade in 1800, he fought at Hohenlinden. Under Napoleon he commanded a brigade in the IV Corps at Austerlitz in 1805, Battle of Jena in 1806 and Eylau in 1807, where he was wounded. He became a Baron of the Empire in 1808, commanded posts in the interior and served as a military instructor. He died in 1811 at Valognes.

Deokheung Daewongun, known before as Prince Deokheung before become Daewongun, personal name Yi Cho was a royal family member of the Joseon dynasty and the first Daewongun in Korean. He was the second son of Jungjong of Joseon and Royal Noble Consort Chang of the Ansan An clan, also the biological father of Seonjo of Joseon.
