Mukhammetkalyy Duyshekeyevich Abylgaziyev is a Kyrgyz politician who served as the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan from 20 April 2018 to 15 June 2020.

Daniar Toktogulovich Usenov is a Kyrgyz banker and politician who served as the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan from October 2009 to April 2010. He previously served as Mayor of Bishkek.

Elhanan Helpman is an Israeli economist who is currently the Galen L. Stone Professor of International Trade at Harvard University. He is also a Professor Emeritus at the Eitan Berglas School of Economics at Tel Aviv University. Helpman is among the thirty most cited economists in the world according to IDEAS/RePEc.

Salizhan Shakirovich Sharipov is a Kyrgyzstani cosmonaut. Sharipov is a co-author and investigator for the Advanced Diagnostic Ultrasound in Microgravity project. He has been to space twice and has conducted two spacewalks. Sharipov retired on 18 July 2008.

Kanybek Osmonaliyevich Osmonaliyev is a former Soviet weightlifter, Olympic champion and world champion. He won gold medal in the flyweight class at the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow. He was affiliated with Burevestnik Frunze.

Asylbek Jeenbekov is a Kyrgyzstani politician. He was elected the Speaker of the 5th and 6th Supreme Council of Kyrgyzstan in 2006 and 2011, respectively. His brother, Sooronbay Jeenbekov, is a former Kyrgyz Prime Minister and the current President of Kyrgyzstan.

Askar Chingizovich Aitmatov served as Foreign Minister in the Government of Kyrgyzstan from June 2002 to March 2005. He is the son of the late Kyrgyz writer Chinghiz Aitmatov.

Yuriy Vasilyevich Melnichenko is a Kazakh wrestler who won the gold medal in the Greco-Roman bantamweight (52–57 kg) category at the 1996 Summer Olympics. He competed at the next Olympics in the featherweight division and finished 19th.

Temir Agrembaevich Sariyev is a Kyrgyz politician who was Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan from 2015 to 2016. He was a presidential candidate for the 2009 elections, receiving 157,005 (6.74%) votes. Sariyev was a candidate in the country's 2017 presidential elections, in which he garnered 2.54% of the vote and came in fourth place.
