Zygmunt Konieczny is a Polish composer of theatre and film music.

Grzegorz Ryś is a Polish Roman Catholic bishop, being the archbishop of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Łódź since 2017. He was previously an auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of Kraków and titular bishop of Arcavica from 2011 to 2017. Since June 2020, Ryś also serves as an apostolic administrator of the Diocese of Kalisz.

Ludwik Gross was a Polish-American virologist who discovered two different tumor viruses, murine leukemia virus and mouse polyomavirus, capable of causing cancers in laboratory mice.

From 2011 to 2015, he was Minister of Labor and Social Affairs in the governments of Donald Tusk and Ewa Kopacz. He was a candidate for president in 2020.
