Rengert Robert Anker was a Dutch writer. In 1993 he won the Ferdinand Bordewijk Prijs for his novel De terugkeer van kapitein Rob, and in 2002 the Libris Prize for Een soort Engeland.

Singer Yvonne Keeley is her sister.

He was also a sugar merchant, hoogheemraad of the Hoogheemraadschap van Rijnland and a counsellor of the States of Holland and West Friesland for Amsterdam at The Hague.
