Campegius Vitringa Sr., or Kempe Vitringa was a Dutch Protestant theologian and Hebraist. His youngest of four children was Campeius Vitringa (1693-1723).

Jeremias de Dekker or Decker was a Dutch poet.

Emanuel de Witte (1617–1692) was a Dutch perspective painter. In contrast to Pieter Jansz Saenredam, who emphasized architectural accuracy, De Witte was more concerned with the atmosphere of his interiors. Though few in number, de Witte also produced genre paintings.

Tjipke Visser was a Dutch sculptor. His work was part of the sculpture event in the art competition at the 1936 Summer Olympics. Visser's work was included in the 1939 exhibition and sale Onze Kunst van Heden at the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam.

Marinus Valentijn was a Dutch professional road bicycle racer. He is most known for his bronze medal in the Elite race of the 1933 UCI Road World Championships.

Mart Stam was a Dutch architect, urban planner, and furniture designer. Stam was extraordinarily well-connected, and his career intersects with important moments in the history of 20th-century European architecture, including chair design at the Bauhaus, the Weissenhof Estate, the Van Nelle Factory, an important modernist landmark building in Rotterdam, buildings for Ernst May's New Frankfurt housing project then to Russia with the idealistic May Brigade, to postwar reconstruction in Germany.
