Paulus Lesire (1611-1654) was a Dutch painter who specialised in history paintings and portraits.

Rutger von Langerfeld, or Rutger van Langevelt, was a Dutch mathematician, painter and architect. He moved to the court of Frederick William during the summer of 1678.

Arend Heyting was a Dutch mathematician and logician.

Nicolaes Eliaszoon Pickenoy was a Dutch painter of Flemish origin. Pickenoy was possibly a pupil of Cornelis van der Voort and presumably Bartholomeus van der Helst was his own pupil.
