Heymeric de Campo (1395–1460) was a Dutch theologian and scholastic philosopher. He was a prominent Albertist, and forerunner of Nicholas of Cusa. He studied at the University of Paris, and taught at Cologne, and Leuven.

Willem Drost was a Dutch Golden Age painter and printmaker of history paintings and portraits.

Herman Gorter was a Dutch poet and socialist. He was a leading member of the Tachtigers, a highly influential group of Dutch writers who worked together in Amsterdam in the 1880s, centered on De Nieuwe Gids.

Albert Heijn was a Dutch entrepreneur who was the original founder of Albert Heijn, which is now the largest food retailer in the Netherlands. On his wedding day in 1887, he took over the grocery store of his father, Jan Simonsz Heijn, and the supermarket chain founded by his grandson still carries his name to this day.

Claes Corneliszoon Moeyaert or Nicolaes Moyaert or Mooyaert (1592–1655) was an authoritative Catholic Dutch painter. He followed Rembrandt in his use of red chalk.
