Shamlee, also known as Baby Shamili/Shamlee,, is an Indian actress who has worked in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam films. Her roles include the mentally challenged child Anjali in the 1990 film Anjali, for which she won the National Film Award for Best Child Artist, and a child trapped inside a bore-well in the film Malootty, which won her a Kerala State Film Award for Best Child Artist. She has also won the Karnataka State Film Award for Best Child Actor (Female) for her performance in her Kannada debut Mathe Haditu Kogile.

Padinjarethalakal Cherian Alexander was an Indian Administrative Service officer of 1948 batch who served as the Governor of Tamil Nadu from 1988 to 1990 and as the Governor of Maharashtra from 1993 to 2002. He was considered as a candidate for the post of the President of India in 2002. During his time in Maharashtra, he had additional charge of Goa from 1996 to 1998. He was also a member of the Rajya Sabha representing Maharashtra as an independent candidate from 29 July 2002 to 2 April 2008.

Mar George Valiamattam is an East Syriac Catholic Archbishop Emeritus. He was born at Punnathura, Kottayam, Kerala, India. He was appointed as the second bishop of Archdiocese of Tellicherry, upon the retirement of Mar Sebastian Valloppilly on 1 May 1989. He was promoted to the post of Metropolitan Archbishop in 1995.
