Mar Varkey Vithayathil C.Ss.R. was an Indian cardinal, served as Major Archbishop of Ernakulam-Angamaly and head of the Syro-Malabar Catholic Church. He was also a religious priest of the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer.
