He authored his first cookbook in 2006 and has made numerous television appearances.

Celia Pavey, known professionally as Vera Blue, is an Australian singer-songwriter signed with Mercury Records Australia, which is part of Universal Music Australia. Her folk-inspired album This Music peaked at number 14 on the Australian ARIA Charts in July 2013. Pavey sings, and plays the guitar and the violin. She placed third in season 2 of The Voice Australia.

Clarence Arnold Elkins Sr. is an American man who was convicted wrongfully of the 1998 rape and murder of his mother-in-law, Judith Johnson, and the rape and assault of his wife's niece, Brooke. He was convicted solely on the basis of the testimony of his wife's 6-year-old niece who testified that Elkins was the perpetrator.

In 2019, he was elected again for Governor of Antioquia, for the 2020-2023 term.
