Lorna Regina "Loren" Bautista Legarda is a Filipino politician, environmentalist, cultural worker, and former journalist who is currently serving as the representative of Antique and as a House Deputy Speaker. She previously served as a senator twice: from 1998 to 2004 and from 2007 to 2019. She is notable for being the only female to top two senatorial elections: 1998 and 2007. She also unsuccessfully ran for vice president twice: In 2004 as the running mate of Fernando Poe Jr., and again in 2010 as the running mate of Manny Villar.

Matthew Michael Carnahan is an American screenwriter who wrote the feature film The Kingdom (2007), and the film adaptation of the hit BBC television drama serial State of Play.
