Gian Gabriele I (1501–1548) was the last Marquis of Saluzzo, Italy. He ruled the marquisate from 1537 to his deposition in 1548. The marquisate of Saluzzo was annexed to France the following year.

Giovanni "Giovannino" Alberto Agnelli was an Italian businessman and member of the Agnelli family, an Italian industrial dynasty associated with Fiat. Agnelli's father was politician and industrialist Umberto Agnelli; his uncle was Fiat head Gianni Agnelli. Prior to his 1997 death at age 33, Giovanni was the heir apparent and designated future chairman of the Fiat group. According to the New York Times, his reputation among the Italian public was comparable to that of John F. Kennedy Jr. in the United States: "rich, strikingly handsome, always smiling and the leading voice of his generation."

Renato Corsetti is an Italian Esperantist who served as President of the Universal Esperanto Association between 2001 and 2007. Born in Rome, Corsetti is a staunch defender of the idea that the people of the world should be able to communicate in a neutral and easy international language. He teaches psycholinguistics at the Sapienza University of Rome. He also is an associate professor at the International Academy of Sciences San Marino.

Guido da Montefeltro was an Italian military strategist and lord of Urbino. He became a friar late in life, and was condemned by Dante Alighieri in his Divine Comedy for giving false or fraudulent counsel.
