Carlo Casini was an Italian politician. He was a member of the European Parliament (MEP) from 8 May 2006 until 30 June 2014, he served in a seat left vacant following the 2006 Italian general election. He represented the Union of Christian and Centre Democrats within the EPP parliamentary group. He was also an MEP from 1984 to 1999.

Tarsicius or Tarcisius was a martyr of the early Christian church who lived in the 3rd century. The little that is known about him comes from a metrical inscription by Pope Damasus I, who was pope in the second half of the 4th century.

Giuseppe Di Stefano was an Italian operatic tenor who sang professionally from the mid 1940s until the early 1990s. Called Pippo by both fans and friends, he was known as the "Golden voice" or "The most beautiful voice", as the true successor of Beniamino Gigli. Luciano Pavarotti said he modeled himself after Di Stefano. In an interview Pavarotti said "Di Stefano is my idol. There is a solar voice...It was the most incredible, open voice you could hear. The musicality of di Stefano is as natural and beautiful as the voice is phenomenal". Di Stefano was also the tenor who most inspired José Carreras. He died on 3 March 2008 as a result of injuries from an attack by unknown assailants.

Corrado Farina was an Italian film director, screenwriter, and novelist. He directed two feature films in the 1970s, many documentaries and commercials, and seven of his novels published.

Stefano Torrisi is an Italian former footballer who played as a defender.

Eleanor of Anjou was Queen of Sicily as the wife of King Frederick II of Sicily. She was a member of the Capetian House of Anjou by birth.

Giampiero Anelli, best known as Drupi, is an Italian pop-rock singer, best known for the songs "Vado via", "Piccola e fragile", "Sereno è" and "Due".

Marcello Bertinetti was an Italian fencer. He competed in sabre and épée events at the 1908, 1924 and 1928 Summer Olympics and won four team medals. Individually he won a silver medal in the épée at the 1929 World Championships.
