Gautham Karthik is an Indian film actor who works in the Tamil film industry. He made his acting debut in Mani Ratnam's Kadal (2013).

Shirish Kunder is an Indian filmmaker. After working as an editor on 21 films starting with Champion (2000), Kunder made his screenwriting and directorial debut with Jaan-E-Mann (2006). He is married to choreographer and film director Farah Khan whom he met while working on her 2004 film Main Hoon Na.

K. S. Sethumadhavan is an Indian film director and screenwriter working in Malayalam cinema. He has also directed films in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. Since the early 1960s he has directed over 60 movies. He has directed many landmark films in the Malayalam film history such as Odeyil Ninnu, Yakshi, Kadalpalam, Achanum Bappayum, Ara Nazhika Neram, Panitheeratha Veedu, Anubhavangal Palichakal, Punarjanmam and Oppol. He has won numerous awards including ten National Film Awards and nine Kerala State Film Awards including Four for Best Direction. In 2009, he was awarded the J. C. Daniel Award, Kerala government's highest honour for contributions to Malayalam cinema

Pradip Krishen, is an Indian filmmaker and environmentalist. He has directed three films, Massey Sahib in 1985, In Which Annie Gives It Those Ones in 1989 and Electric Moon for Channel 4, UK in 1991. His films have won significant Indian and international awards, and In Which Annie Gives It Those Ones acquired cult status in the years after it was made. He was married to Arundhati Roy who also acted in his films. He subsequently gave up filmmaking, and since 1995, has worked as a naturalist and environmentalist.

T. V. Chandran is an Indian film director, screenwriter, and actor, predominantly working in Malayalam cinema. Born in a Malayali family in Telicherry, Chandran worked as a Reserve Bank of India employee before entering into the film industry. He started his film career as an assistant director to P. A. Backer. He also acted the lead role in Backer's highly acclaimed political drama Kabani Nadi Chuvannappol (1975). He made his directorial debut with the unreleased feature Krishnan Kutty (1981), and followed this with the Tamil film Hemavin Kadhalargal (1985). Chandran came into prominence after Alicinte Anveshanam (1989), which was nominated for the Golden Leopard at the Locarno International Film Festival. This was followed with Ponthan Mada (1993), his most famous film to-date. Chandran is most known for his art-house films which have references to history and undertones of politics and feminism. He is also known for his trilogy on 2002 Gujarat riots, consisting of Kathavasheshan (2004), Vilapangalkappuram (2008) and Bhoomiyude Avakashikal (2012). Other highly acclaimed films include Mangamma (1997), Dany (2001) and Paadam Onnu: Oru Vilapam (2003).

Archana Jose Kavi is an Indian film actress, YouTuber and a television host. Her acting debut was in Neelathaamara (2009) scripted by M. T. Vasudevan Nair and directed by Lal Jose.

Robert B. Griffiths is an American physicist at Carnegie Mellon University. He is the originator of the consistent histories approach to quantum mechanics, which has since been developed by himself, Roland Omnès, Murray Gell-Mann, and James Hartle.

Kamal Khan is a Bollywood playback singer. He won the reality singing competition, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Singing Superstar in 2010. Later he won the Zee Cine Awards "Fresh Singing Talent 2012", for the song Ishq Sufiyana (Male) from the film The Dirty Picture (2012).

Nadarajan "Raj" Chetty is an Indian-born American economist and the William A. Ackman Professor of Public Economics at Harvard University. Some of Chetty's recent papers have studied equality of opportunity in the United States and the long-term impact of teachers on students' performance. Offered tenure at the age of 28, Chetty became one of the youngest tenured faculty in the history of Harvard's economics department. He is a recipient of the John Bates Clark Medal and a 2012 MacArthur Fellow. Currently, he is also an advisory editor of the Journal of Public Economics. In 2020, he was awarded the Infosys Prize in Economics, the most prestigious award that recognizes achievements in science and research, in India.
