K. Sudhakaran
Kumbakudi Sudhakaran is an Indian politician and president of the Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC). He was also the former Cabinet Minister in Government of Kerala. He is currently serving as Member of Parliament (MP), Lok Sabha from Kannur, Kerala and member of Parliamentary Standing Committees on Rural Development and Welfare of OBCs. He represents the Indian National Congress Party. He was also a four term member in the Kerala Legislative Assembly and represented the Kannur constituency from 1996 to 2009.
Birju Maharaj
Brijmohan Mishra, popularly known as Pandit Birju Maharaj,, is an exponent of the Handia (Rikhipur), Allahabad Kalka-Bindadin gharana of Kathak dance in India. He is a descendant of the Maharaj family of Kathak dancers, which includes his two uncles, Shambhu Maharaj and Lachhu Maharaj, and his father and guru, Acchan Maharaj. Even though dancing is his first love, he practices Hindustani classical music and is a vocalist.
