Banwarilal Purohit is an Indian politician who is the current and 14th Governor of Tamil Nadu. Having been appointed as the Governor of Tamil Nadu on 30 September 2017, he assumed office on October 6, 2017. He was appointed as Governor of Assam State by President of India on 17 August 2016. He was a Member of Parliament from the Nagpur three times, twice as an Indian National Congress member, once as a BJP member.

Vidhu Vinod Chopra is an Indian film director, screenwriter and producer. His better known films include Parinda, 1942: A Love Story, Munna Bhai film series, 3 Idiots, PK, Sanju, Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga and Shikara. He is the founder of Vinod Chopra Films and Vinod Chopra Productions.

Dalveer Bhandari is an Indian member of the International Court of Justice. He is a former Judge of Supreme Court of India. He is also the former Chief Justice of Bombay High Court and a Judge of Delhi High Court.

Karthik Sivakumar, better known by his stage name Karthi, is an Indian film actor who works primarily in Tamil cinema. He has won three Filmfare Awards South, an Edison Award, a SIIMA Award and a Tamil Nadu State Film Award.

Kaushal Prasad Manda is an Indian actor and model who predominantly works in Telugu language films and TV serials. He also runs a modelling agency.

Ram Prasad Bismil was an Indian revolutionary who participated in Mainpuri conspiracy of 1918, and the Kakori conspiracy of 1925, and struggled against British imperialism. Bismil was hanged on 19 December 1927 by the British for his revolutionary activities. As well as being a freedom fighter, he was a patriotic poet and wrote in Hindi and Urdu using the pen names Ram, Agyat and Bismil. But, he became popular with the last name "Bismil" only. He was associated with Arya Samaj where he got inspiration from Satyarth Prakash, a book written by Swami Dayanand Saraswati. He also had a confidential connection with Lala Har Dayal through his guru Swami Somdev, a preacher of Arya Samaj.Bismil was one of the founding members of the revolutionary organization Hindustan Republican Association. Bhagat Singh praised him as a great poet-writer of Urdu and Hindi, who had also translated the books Catherine from English and Bolshevikon Ki Kartoot from Bengali.

Ansiba Hassan is a Malayalam actress, television anchor and dancer. Her first role was in the 2013 Tamil film Paranjothi, directed by Gobu Balaji. Her popularity grew as a result of her appearance in Jeethu Joseph's 2013 hit Malayalam movie Drishyam where she played the part of Anju, the daughter of an ordinary cable TV operator.

Subramaniyan Karuppaiya, known by his stage name Goundamani, is an Indian actor and comedian. He is known for his comic duo partnership in Tamil films with fellow actor Senthil. The pair dominated the Tamil industry as comedians in the 1980s and 90s. He was called Goundamani after acting as a Gounder in one of his early day dramas and the pseudonym stuck with him forever. He has the ability to give counter dialogues on the spot and off the script on stage and during shooting but it has nothing to do with his screen name, contrary to popular belief.

Sindhutai Sapkal, affectionately known as the "Mother of Orphans", is an Indian social worker and social activist known particularly for her work in raising orphaned children in India. She was conferred the Padma Shri in 2021 in Social Work category, a Doctorate in Literature by the DY Patil Institute of Technology and Research in 2016 and the Nari Shakti Puraskar in 2017.
