Louis Joseph Gasnier was a French-American film director, producer, screenwriter and stage actor. A cinema pioneer, Gasnier shepherded the early career of comedian Max Linder, co-directed the enormously successful film serial The Perils of Pauline (1914) and capped his output with the notorious low-budget exploitation film Reefer Madness (1936) which was both a critical and box office failure.

Yrétha Silété is a French former competitive figure skater. She is a two-time French national champion and represented France at the European, World, and World Junior Championships. She achieved her best result, ninth, at the 2012 European Championships.

Charles Édouard Armand-Dumaresq was a French painter and illustrator who specialized in military subjects.

Ustazade Silvestre de Sacy was a French journalist. He was born in Paris, and is son of the linguist Antoine-Isaac Silvestre de Sacy (1758-1838), who in 1813, was created a baron. From 1828 to 1877, he was a literary and political contributor to the Journal des Débats. He became a curator at the Bibliothèque Mazarine in 1836 and became its administrator in 1848. He was elected to the Académie française on 18 May 1854, and became a senator in 1865.

Maurice Archambaud was a French professional cyclist from 1932 to 1944. His short stature earned him the nickname of le nabot, or "the dwarf", but his colossal thighs made him an exceptional rider.
