Alain Bauer is a French criminologist. He was elected professor of criminology at the Conservatoire national des arts et métiers and is a senior research fellow at the John Jay College of Criminal Justice and the China University of Political Science and Law (Beijing). There were many protests in the scientific community in France against the appointment because he had not received a PhD.

Nicole Marie Jeanne Andrieu, better known as Nicole Courcel, was a French actress who achieved popularity through the 1950s and 1960s, though she is mostly unknown outside of France. Born in Saint-Cloud, in the western suburbs of Paris, she appeared in 43 films between 1947 and 1979. After working as an extra in a few films, she won a major role in Rendez-vous de juillet (1949), with Brigitte Auber. In 1970 she turned to television, appearing in different television films and miniseries, in which she continued to work until 2004. Courcel is best known for her role in Serge Bourguignon's Sundays and Cybele (1962). She had notable parts in: La Marie du port, Sacha Guitry's Royal Affairs in Versailles (1954), and La Sorcière.

Thierry Breton is a French businessman and politician who has been serving as the European Commissioner for Internal Market since 2019. He previously was a professor at Harvard Business School and a Finance minister of France. In the private sector, he has been vice-chairman and CEO of Groupe Bull, Chairman and CEO of Thomson-RCA (1997–2002), Chairman and CEO of France Télécom (2002–2005). An Honorary Chairman of both Thomson and France Telecom, he most recently Chairman and CEO of international information technology services company Atos from 2008 until 2019.

Charles Marie Ferdinand Walsin Esterhazy was an officer in the French Army from 1870 to 1898. He gained notoriety as a spy for the German Empire and the actual perpetrator of the act of treason of which Captain Alfred Dreyfus was wrongfully accused and convicted in 1894.

Dorothée is the stage name of Frédérique Hoschedé, a French singer and television presenter. She was a continuity announcer on French public broadcaster Antenne 2 from 1977 to 1983, but she is best known for having presented children's television shows like Les mercredis de la jeunesse, Dorothée et ses amis, Récré A2, and especially Club Dorothée, which totalled up to about 30 hours of broadcast per week and popularized Japanese animation in France.
