Atsushi Fujimoto is a former professional baseball player from Akashi, Hyōgo, Japan. After a nine-year career for the Hanshin Tigers, Fujimoto finished his career with the Tokyo Yakult Swallows before retiring at the end of the 2013 season. On 6 November 2014 it was announced that Fujimoto will return to Hanshin as an infield and baserunning coach for the farm team.

Kaori Inoue is a Japanese volleyball player who plays for Denso Airybees. On the 23 September 2008 Airybees announced her marriage. She serves as the captain of the team from 2009. She was part of the Japanese team that won the bronze medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics.

Kim Jung-ya is a Zainichi Korean football player who plays for Fujieda MYFC. He holds South Korean nationality but is exempt from J. League squad restrictions on foreign players.

Keiji Yamada is a Japanese politician and former Governor of Kyoto Prefecture. A native of Hyōgo Prefecture and 1977 graduate of the University of Tokyo, he had worked at the Ministry of Home Affairs since 1977 and served as the vice governor of Kyoto Prefecture before elected governor for the first time in 2002. In 2011 he also took over from Wataru Asō as President of the National Governors Association.

Ayaka Tanihara , born Ayaka Kimura October 30, 1981 and known professionally as Ayaka Nagate , is a Japanese actress and former singer. From 1998 to 2008, Nagate was part of Hello! Project as a member of the Japan-based girl group Coconuts Musume.
