Antal Szerb was a noted Hungarian scholar and writer. He is generally considered to be one of the major Hungarian writers of the 20th century.

Zsolt V. Németh is a Hungarian land surveyor and politician, member of the National Assembly (MP) for Körmend since 1998. He also served as mayor of Vasvár twice: between 1990 and 1994, and from 1998 to 2010. He was state secretary in the second and third Orbán governments from 2010 to 2018.

István Urbányi is a Hungarian former football player and coach, who currently serves as head coach of Kaw Valley FC in USL League Two. Kaw Valley is based in Lawrence, Kansas and Topeka, Kansas, with offices in Topeka.

Tamara Téglássy is a Hungarian former competitive figure skater. She is an eight-time Hungarian national champion (1984–1991) and competed at the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary. She finished in the top ten at four European Championships. Her best world result, 11th, came at the 1988 and 1990 World Championships. She was a member of the Budapest Spartacus Sport Club.

Ildikó Rejtő is a retired Hungarian two-time Olympic and five-time World Champion foil fencer.

Orsolya Tóth is a Hungarian actress. She has appeared in 26 films since 2002. She played the title role in the film Johanna, which was screened in the Un Certain Regard section at the 2005 Cannes Film Festival.
