List of Famous people born in Hungary

Attila József is one of the most famous Hungarian poets of the 20th century. Generally not recognized during his lifetime, József was hailed during the communist era of the 1950s as Hungary's great "proletarian poet" and he has become the best known of the modern Hungarian poets internationally.

Géza Ladislaus Euseb Gerhard Rafael Albert Maria von Habsburg is a Fabergé expert who has published books and articles on the jewellers Peter Carl Fabergé and Victor Mayer. He is the curator of several major international Fabergé exhibitions. Géza von Habsburg coined the term Fauxbergé. As a member of the House of Habsburg-Lorraine, he holds the abolished but courtesy titles of Archduke of Austria, Prince of Hungary and Bohemia, with the style of Imperial and Royal Highness.

Dorottya Udvaros is a Hungarian actress. She has appeared in more than 60 films and television shows since 1976. She won the award for Best Actress at the 15th Moscow International Film Festival for her role in Love, Mother.

Judit Hernádi is a Hungarian actress.

Béla Bollobás FRS is a Hungarian-born British mathematician who has worked in various areas of mathematics, including functional analysis, combinatorics, graph theory, and percolation. He was strongly influenced by Paul Erdős since the age of 14.
