Kenan Çoban is a Turkish actor who is known for playing the role of Abdülhey Çoban in the Valley of the Wolves.

Nadir Çiftçi is a Turkish footballer who currently plays as a forward for Samsunspor. He has previously played for Portsmouth in England, Kayserispor in Turkey and NAC Breda in the Netherlands, before moving to Scotland in 2013 to play for Dundee United. He signed for Celtic in 2015 and had spells on loan at Eskişehirspor, Pogoń Szczecin, Plymouth Argyle and Motherwell.

Adil Serdar Saçan is a famous Turkish police chief who has overseen numerous high-profile investigations. He supervises the Istanbul police force's Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime Department, which he established in 1998.

Mazlum Doğan was a journalist and a founding member of the Kurdistan Workers' Party. He was a Kurdish Alevi Muslim. He has been the first chief editor of the party's newspaper Serxwebûn. In 1979, he had planned to leave Turkey towards Syria, but was arrested and after serving time in the infamous Diyarbakir No. 5 prison. Mazlum Doğan committed suicide in protest of the Turkish coup d'état and the inhumane conditions he and other prisoners were facing inside of the penitentiary. Today he is seen as a hero and a martyr for the Kurdish resistance movement.

Alparslan Çelik is a Turkish Islamist-Nationalist Alperen Ocakları member. In 2014 he joined the Syrian Turkmen Brigades and fought against the Syrian Army. On 24 November, after Turkey shot down a Russian bomber jet, he allegedly killed the Russian pilot Oleg Peshkov. Çelik was detained in İzmir, Turkey on 31 March 2016. All charges against him were dropped on 9 May 2016. However the investigation was subsequently reopened in which he denied killing the pilot, instead insisting that he was killed by another group.
