Carmen Suleiman
Carmen Essam Soliman, better known by her stage name Carmen Suliman, is an Egyptian singer. Soliman won the first season of Arab Idol in 2012 broadcast live on MBC, winning a recording contract with Platinum Records. After grueling rounds of televised eliminations, and critical evaluations by celebrity judges Ragheb Alama, Nancy Ajram, Ahlam and Egyptian music producer Hassan El Shafei, Carmen Soliman prevailed against all other contestants to become the first winner of the hit series on 24 March 2012 with the highest number of votes. Her first single, "Kalam Kalam" was released on 4 March 2013 jumping to No. 1 on the Egyptian charts, and her first album was released in January 2014. Carmen followed with numerous hit singles, including "Akhbari" and "Azama Ala Azama" a trio with fellow Idol contestants, Dounia Batma and Youssef Arafat.
Meritaten
Meritaten, also spelled Merytaten or Meryetaten, was an ancient Egyptian royal woman of the Eighteenth Dynasty of Egypt. Her name means "She who is beloved of Aten"; Aten being the sun-deity whom her father, Pharaoh Akhenaten, worshipped. She held several titles, performing official roles for her father and becoming the Great Royal Wife to Pharaoh Smenkhkare, who may have been a brother or son of Akhenaten. Meritaten also may have served as pharaoh in her own right under the name Ankhkheperure Neferneferuaten.
Youssef Wahbi
Youssef Abdallah Wahbi Qotb was an Egyptian stage and film actor and director, a leading star of the 1930s and 1940s and one of the most prominent Egyptian stage actors of any era, who also served on the jury of the Cannes Film Festival in 1946. He was born to a high state official in Egypt but renounced his family's wealth and traveled to Rome in the 1920s to study theatre. Besides his stage work, he acted in about 50 films, starting with Awlad al-Zawat to "Iskanderiya... lih?".

Farouk El-Baz
Farouk El-Baz is an Egyptian American space scientist and geologist, who worked with NASA in the scientific exploration of the Moon and the planning of the Apollo program. He was a leading geologist on the program, responsible for studying the geology of the Moon, the selection of landing sites for the Apollo missions, and the training of astronauts in lunar observations and photography. He played a key role in the Apollo 11 Moon landing mission, and later Apollo missions. He also came up with the idea of touchable Moon rocks at a museum, inspired by his childhood pilgimage to Mecca where he touched the Black Stone.

Ateyyat El Abnoudy, also known as Ateyyat Awad Mahmoud Khalil, was an Egyptian journalist, lawyer, actress, producer, and movie director. She was born in a small village along the Nile Delta in Egypt. El-Abnoudy was considered to be one of the pioneering Arab female movie directors as her films inspired the works of many Arab women in the industry. She has been called the "poor people's filmmaker" due to the subject matter that inspired her to make films, including civil rights issues and the condition of impoverished Arabs.
Mahmoud Abdel Rahim
Mahmoud Abdel Rahim, known by his nickname Genish, is an Egyptian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Egyptian Premier League club Zamalek and the Egypt national team.
