John Adams, known as Jack Adams, was the last survivor of the Bounty mutineers who settled on Pitcairn Island in January 1790, the year after the mutiny. His real name was John Adams, but he used the name Alexander Smith until he was discovered in 1808 by Captain Mayhew Folger of the American whaling ship Topaz. His children used the surname "Adams".

William King Hale, or Bill Hale, was an American cattleman and convicted murderer. Hale was a prominent figure on the Osage Indian Reservation, in what was then the Indian Territory, where he built the noted Hale Ranch and made a fortune raising cattle. When Oklahoma gained statehood in 1907, the land occupied by the reservation became contiguous with Osage County, Oklahoma.

Shonali Nagrani is an entertainment television presenter and host of the IPL. Along with the IPL, she has also appeared in Hindi language films. She entered the Femina Miss India pageant in 2003 and was crowned Femina Miss India International, allowing her to compete in Miss International 2003, where she was crowned 1st runner up.
