Evžen Tošenovský is a Czech politician. He was elected as a Member of the European Parliament (MEP) in the 2009 European Parliament election receiving the largest number of preference votes.

Jiří Trnka was a Czech puppet-maker, illustrator, motion-picture animator and film director.

Radka Kovaříková is a Czech former competitive pair skater. With René Novotný, she is the 1995 World champion and 1995 European silver medalist.

Oldřich Navrátil is Czech stage, film and television actor. He has appeared in 75 films and television shows since 1976 and starred in the 1982 film Incomplete Eclipse, which was entered into the 33rd Berlin International Film Festival.

Eliška Misáková was a Czech gymnast who was selected to attend the 1948 Summer Olympics.

Pavel Haas was a Czech composer who was murdered during the Holocaust. He was an exponent of Leoš Janáček's school of composition, and also utilized elements of folk music and jazz. Although his output was not large, he is notable particularly for his song cycles and string quartets.

Jan Graubner is the Roman Catholic archbishop of Olomouc, Czech Republic. On 23 June 1973, he was ordained as a priest. On 17 March 1990, he was named auxiliary bishop of Olomouc and titular bishop of Tagaria. The principal consecrator at Graubner's ordination as a bishop on 7 April 1990 was Olomouc's then archbishop, František Vanák. Vanák died on 14 September 1991, and on 28 September 1992, Graubner was appointed archbishop of Olomouc.
