John Patrick "J. P." McManus is an Irish businessman and racehorse owner. His career lasted from the 1980s to the 2010s. He was one of the biggest shareholders of Manchester United.

Frances Fitzgerald is an Irish politician who has been a Member of the European Parliament (MEP) from Ireland for the Dublin constituency since July 2019. She is a member of Fine Gael, part of the European People's Party. She previously served as Tánaiste from 2016 to 2017, Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation from June 2017 to November 2017, Minister for Justice and Equality from 2014 to 2016, Minister for Children and Youth Affairs from 2011 to 2014 and Leader of Fine Gael in the Seanad from 2007 to 2011. She served as a Teachta Dála (TD) from 1992 to 2002 and 2011 to 2019. She was also a Senator for the Labour Panel from 2007 to 2011.

Craig Casey is an Irish rugby union player for Pro14 and European Rugby Champions Cup Munster. Internationally, Casey made his senior debut for Ireland in 2021. He plays as a scrum-half and represents Shannon in the All-Ireland League.

John Collison is an Irish billionaire entrepreneur. He is best known for having co-founded Stripe with his brother, Patrick. The brothers are worth at least $3.2 billion each, after San Francisco-based Stripe raised $150 million from CapitalG, an investment division of Google's parent company Alphabet Inc., and General Catalyst Partners. The brothers hold a controlling interest in Stripe and will be able to retain control should the company go public.

Paul Jeremiah O'Connell is an Irish former rugby union player. When he stopped playing, he was Ireland's third most-capped player (108) and the eighteenth most-capped international player in rugby union history. During his career, O'Connell captained Munster, Ireland and the British and Irish Lions. He is now the forwards coach for the Ireland national men's team.

Joseph O'Mara was an Irish opera singer of the Victorian and Edwardian eras. After studying opera in Milan, Italy, he made his London stage debut in 1891 in the tenor title role of the opera Ivanhoe by Arthur Sullivan and soon appeared in other operas. In 1894 he first appeared at Covent Garden Theatre. For three years, he was the principal tenor at Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, also appearing in the pantomime there and elsewhere. In 1896, he created the tenor lead, Mike Murphy, in Charles Villiers Stanford's opera Shamus O'Brien, also playing the role on tour and in America.
