Hanna Gabriel
Hanna Gabriels Valle, known as Hanna Gabriels, is a Costa Rican professional boxer. She has held world championships in four weight classes, having held the WBA female light middleweight title since 2016; the WBA female light heavyweight and WBC female heavyweight titles since April 2021; the WBO welterweight title in 2009; and the WBO light middleweight title twice between 2010 and 2018. As of September 2020, she is ranked as the world's third best active light middleweight by The Ring and BoxRec.

Andrea Carolina Vargas Mena is a Costa Rican athlete specialising in the sprint hurdles. She is the current NR holder with the time of 12.64 seconds which was set at the IAAF World Championships in Doha 2019. She represented her country at the 2018 World Indoor Championships without advancing from the first round. Carmen SEXO XXX
Carmen Lyra was the pseudonym of the first prominent female Costa Rican writer, born María Isabel Carvajal Quesada. She was a teacher and founder of the country's first Montessori school. She was a co-founder of the Communist Party of Costa Rica, as well as one of the country's first female worker's unions. She was one of the earliest writers to criticize the dominance of the fruit companies. She won many prizes.

Kenneth Tencio Esquivel is a Costa Rican freestyle or freestyle BMX cyclist. He is an athlete known in Costa Rica for participating in BMX freestyle competitions in the X-Knights, winning the silver medal in the 2018 Urban Cycling World Championship and for qualifying for the 2020 Summer Olympics.

Luis Guillermo Solís Rivera is a Costa Rican politician and educator who was the President of Costa Rica from 2014 to 2018. He is a member of the center-left Citizens' Action Party (PAC). Solís led the field in the 2014 presidential election, and won the presidency in a landslide election, earning more votes than any presidential candidate in the history of the nation. Solís has a long academic and political career, culminating in his election as the first President of Costa Rica to be a member of the PAC.
