Jorge Arturo Agustín Medina Estévez is a Chilean Cardinal of the Roman Catholic Church. He was Cardinal Protodeacon until 23 February 2007. He was Prefect of the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments from 1996 to 2002.

Camila Antonia Amaranta Vallejo Dowling is a Chilean Communist Party politician, currently serving as a member of the Chamber of Deputies, representing District 26 of La Florida, Santiago. She is part of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth of Chile. As president of the University of Chile Student Federation (FECh) and main spokesperson of the Confederation of Chilean Students (Confech), she was one of the most prominent leaders of the student protests of 2011.

Since 1948, Jodorowsky has worked as a novelist, screenwriter, a poet, a playwright, an essayist, a film and theater director and producer, an actor, a film editor, a comics writer, a musician and composer, a philosopher, a puppeteer, a mime, a lay psychologist, a draughtsman, a painter, a sculptor, and a spiritual guru. Best known for his avant-garde films El Topo (1970) and The Holy Mountain (1973), he has been "venerated by cult cinema enthusiasts" for his work which "is filled with violently surreal images and a hybrid blend of mysticism and religious provocation".

Sergio Elías Jadue Jadue is the former president of the National Association of Professional Football of Chile (ANFP) and second vice president of the Conmebol. He pleaded guilty on the 2015 FIFA corruption case. In May 2016, Jadue was banned for life by the FIFA Ethics Committee.

He was the winner of the 2013 Junior French Open, beating Alexander Zverev in the final. In February 2020, he achieved a career high ATP singles ranking of 18.

Nicolás Alejandro Massú Fried, nicknamed El Vampiro, is a Chilean retired tennis player, a former world No. 9 in singles and winner of two Olympic gold medals. He is the only male player to have won both the singles and doubles gold medals during the same games in modern Olympic tennis, the only two gold medals Chile has won at the Olympics. Massú also reached the final of the 2003 Madrid Masters and won six singles titles. Now, he is the coach of the world top Austrian Tennis Player Dominic Thiem.

Julio Pérez Silva is a Chilean serial killer who was active between 1998 and 2001. Known as the Psychopath from Alto Hospicio, his crimes took place in the Tarapacá Region, specifically in the city of Iquique and in the town of Alto Hospicio, hence his nickname.
