Eygló Harðardóttir
Eygló Harðardóttir is an Icelandic politician. She served as Iceland's Minister of Social Affairs and Housing 2013–2017. She has a degree in art from the University of Stockholm and has studied economics at the University of Iceland. She became active in local politics 2003, for Framsóknarflokkurinn, a Nordic agrarian centre-right party. In 2008 she was elected as a representative to the Althing, the Icelandic parliament.

Árni Páll Árnason
Árni Páll Árnason is a former Icelandic politician, who served in the government of Iceland as Minister of Social Affairs and Social Security from 10 May 2009 to 2 September 2010, and as Minister of Economic Affairs from 2 September 2010 to 31 December 2011. He served as a Member of Parliament for the Social Democratic Party from 2007 - 2016. He was elected party leader in February 2013 in a ballot of all party members with 62,2% of the votes cast, and served as leader until June 2016.

Halla Margrét Árnadóttir or Halla Margrét is an Icelandic singer who represented her country in the Eurovision Song Contest 1987, in Brussels. In that competition, she sang the entry Hægt Og Hljótt (in english: with music and lyrics by Valgeir Guðjónsson; the conductor was Hjálmar Ragnarsson. The song ended in 16th place and received 28 points.

She served as Minister of Finance from 2011 to 2012, and twice as parliamentary group leader for the SDA. On 17 March 2016, she declared her candidacy for the party's leadership election, which took place at an extraordinary party conference on 3–4 June, and she was elected party chairman.
