Roger Köppel
Roger Jürg Koppel is a Swiss politician, journalist, entrepreneur and publicist. He is currently a member of the Swiss People's Party (SVP). He also holds the position of Publisher and Editor-in-chief at the right-wing Swiss weekly magazine Die Weltwoche, a position that he has held since 2006. In the past he served as editor-in-chief of Die Welt from 2004 until 2006. Köppel joined the Swiss People's Party (SVP) in 2015 and contested the Swiss federal elections. He was elected as a member of the National Council and thereafter selected for the Foreign Affairs Committee.

Beat Richner
Beat Richner was a Swiss pediatrician, cellist and founder of children's hospitals in Cambodia. He created the Kantha Bopha Foundation in Zurich in 1992 and became its head. He and another expatriate oversee and run the predominantly Cambodian-manned hospitals. As both a cellist and a medical doctor, Richner was known by patients, audiences, and donors as "Beatocello".

Ulrich "Ueli" Maurer is a Swiss politician who served as President of the Swiss Confederation in 2013 and 2019. A member of the Swiss People's Party (SVP/UDC), he has been a Member of the Swiss Federal Council since 2009. Formerly head of the Federal Department of Defence, Civil Protection and Sports (2009–2015), Maurer has served as head of the Federal Department of Finance since 2016.

Annemarie Minna Renée Schwarzenbach was a Swiss writer, journalist and photographer. Her bisexual mother brought her up in a masculine style, and her androgynous image suited the bohemian Berlin society of the time, in which she indulged enthusiastically. Her Anti-Fascist campaigning forced her into exile, where she became close to the family of novelist Thomas Mann. She would live much of her life abroad as a photo-journalist, embarking on many lesbian relationships, and experiencing a growing morphine addiction. In America, the young Carson McCullers was infatuated with Annemarie, to whom she dedicated Reflections in a Golden Eye. Annemarie reported on the early events of World War II, but died of a head injury, following a fall.

Hugo Koblet was a Swiss champion cyclist. He won the Tour de France and the Giro d'Italia as well as competing in six-day and pursuit races on the track. He won 70 races as a professional. He died in a car accident amid speculation that he had committed suicide.
