As an actor, he won the Prix Jutra for Best Actor at the 12th Jutra Awards in 2010 for his performance as Dédé Fortin in Through the Mist , and was nominated for Best Supporting Actor at the 15th Jutra Awards in 2013 for his performance as Ji-Guy in Before My Heart Falls . His other film roles have included Raphaël in Gabrielle, Christophe Ducharme in Chorus, Léopold Lacroix in Hochelaga, Land of Souls , Christophe in The Acrobat (L'Acrobate), Brother Jean in The Vinland Club , and Samuel Chapdelaine in Maria Chapdelaine.

Françoise Fong-Wa Yip is a Canadian actress. She first became known for her performances in Hong Kong films, before later also starring in North American films and television shows. She is best known to international audiences for her roles in action films opposite Jackie Chan and Jet Li.

Michelle Tisseyre was a Canadian television presenter who also worked in the fields of journalism and translations. She joined Radio-Canada in 1941 and did pioneering work as a broadcasting journalist on the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) radio and television till 1947. Thereafter, she worked freelance for some time and then rejoined Radio-Canada in 1950, and was its director from 1953 to 1960 when the first TV show TV-Montreal was launched. In 1941, she became the first woman to present a 15-minute newsletter broadcast in CBC's French services.
