Bruce Broughton is an American orchestral composer of television, film, and video game scores and concert works. He has composed several highly acclaimed soundtracks over his extensive career and has contributed many pieces to music archives. He has won ten Emmy Awards and has been nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Score. Broughton is currently a lecturer in composition at the UCLA.

George Francis Flaherty, Jr., known professionally as Pat Flaherty, was an American racecar driver who won the Indianapolis 500 in 1956.

Burton Cecil Downing was an American racing cyclist who competed in the early twentieth century. An all round cycling talent, he competed in Cycling at the 1904 Summer Olympics and won two gold medals in the 25 mile and the 2 mile, three silver medals in the ¼ mile, ⅓ mile and mile and a bronze medal in the ½ mile race.
